Design Ecology CCA - Week 11

The first set of molds have been fired! They come out much lighter (about 50lbs each) and very sturdy. We do weight tests, and even one with several structural cracks can take the weight of three people. We're ready to go.

Production continues, with teams developing modular entrance tubes, putting more clay into their slump molds and leather-hard modules headed to the kilns.

We also discuss the design doc that will be due at the end of the course.

The prototype deployment trip is next week!
